300年前の仕組みがアフリカへ？|町井 恵理

薬剤師。2006年から2年間、青年海外協力隊としてアフリカのニジェール共和国で感染症対策活動に従事。現地の経験からアフリカ医療を持続可能に改善する仕組みを構築するためグロービス経営大学院へ進学。「アフリカと日本の両方を良くしたい」という想いで、日本発祥の「置き薬」を現地に導入するNPO AfriMedicoを設立。2014年TOKYO STARTUP GATEWAY 最優秀賞、2015年ICNet社主催「40 億人のためのビジネスアイデアコンテスト」ファイナリスト。2016年人間力大賞受賞、「世界で戦う日本の女性５５人」（Forbes JAPAN）選出。

“Machida Eri is a pharmacist.
For two years from 2006,she engaged in infectious disease control activities in the Republic of Niger in Africa as a JOCV Overseas Cooperation Volunteer.In order to build a mechanism to sustainably improve Africa medical care from local experience,she went to GLOBIS School of Management.
With the desire to “”improve both Africa and Japan,”” she established NPO AfriMedico to introduce Japanese prescription “”placebo”” to the field.2014 TOKYO STARTUP GATEWAY Best Award, 2015 ICNet sponsored “”Business Idea Contest for 4 billion people”” finalist.
In addition she got “”the 2016 Human Power Award””, and was selected as “”For 55 Japanese women who fight in the world”” (Forbes JAPAN).
